Keep an eye out for Northern Lights reports getting as far south as the Midlands.

ARPEGE is showing slight accumulations for parts of South East England. The Met Office app has these showers getting into Greater London between 0200 - 0400 might set my alarm.

Snowing  steadily in Fakenham:D

Finally our turn no matter how much we may get. Good start to the night though.

Low Double figures next weekend, not sure much sunshine which will be a shame because that could easily add +5 feel like temp in sunshine if it breaks.

As for today we had a soft hail/sleet/rain event for about 20 mins around 5pm which was fun to watch from the pub window, as for the early hours who knows down this way but some will get lucky.

Just hoping Leatherhead stays snow free, heading that way in the morning.

Can't see any reports of snow north of London even though radar looks promising . Not sure I can stay up for another let down. But it would be my luck I went to bed and ....

Belgium looks to be drawing in all the precip of the North Sea and thus snow.

I hazard a guess as to whether the heavier precip in the NW can make it to our Region.

Radar still looking fairly promising and slowly encroaching into the East London area. Wether it will decay will be known in the next couple of radar runs.

Good Morning all.

Off to walk the dog before I set off for work, I think we had a very light wintry mix will know more when I walk the fields in a Moment.

Look at the Radar it showed it quite heavy as it slipped past Detling and away South East, I don't think it was as heavy as the Radar suggests looking at the car and paths.

Can confirm nothing much of note took place this way during the night, as far as the eye could see across the fields towards Maidstone and up towards Blue Bell nothing.

Nice brew before setting off for another working week.

It's snowing lightly in Hythe at the moment but not settling. Quite large flakes.

Settled up the Downs just a few miles away from Hythe. Nice surprise getting up this morning.
