Guys we also had hope and weather warnings the big issue is the front brings much warmer temps and dps. And the cold didnt undercut and mix the milder air out. Even the Peak district had no snow and they are significantly higher up than the SE. So take my advice and get some sleep because you will be left disapointed. I hope i am wrong and you get better luck. So gd luck guys but i cant see it infact look at your dps its not even marginal.

but this area gets more lucky, I feel the cold air will catch the ppn up and bring snow to this region, may not lie though

Aaaa. But to me the chase is half the excitement . Sometimes it pays off I actually remember a few years ago I went to bed because all forecasts pointed towards rain but I woke up to snow and enough of it to stop all the trains for the day . I think half a centimetre fell lol

Dewpoints do seem to be slowly dropping to the West of our region, just a case of how long the ppn lasts.

Still 4.6ºc, with a Dp of 3.9ºc here, looks unlikely for Central London, but as for most others, still touch and go... Could be an interesting night!

3.8C, DP 3.6C, raining. Even if it snows it's way too soggy out there to settle.

Evening all, 4.1c here and heavy rain. If things are to turn more wintry - then when would it be due?

Plain Rain still here. Radar showing sleet but no reports of it falling in relevant thread / twitter etc.

my advice : if your desperate to see a few flakes then get some sleep and set alarm for 5am in extreme west of region. 6am for herts / bucks etc and 7am for the areas east of there

3.1c here, starting  to look a bit sleety, but it's quite heavy and no sign of snow.

Latest Teeet from Dan Holley (Met office)

E ANGLIA: Latest guidance suggests only 20% chance of a LOCAL couple cm's of snow later tonight, i.e. more likely not to amount to very much
