Continuous light snow here. Patches settling on cars and the grass... Great to see. Oh have my expectations lowered since the 2010-13 winters.

Please could someone tell me how to get dew point for a certain location? My nearest weather station is 15 miles away so that's no good! (Wunderground) Temp here 1.4 and dropping rapidly.

you deserve it steve

whats your view on midweek

alot has changed since your great post a few days back

do you think the mild will still be squeezed out

My initial post was at a time when everything was alligning great - the flow ahead of the front was easterly & the allignment of the winds into the front were South-

then in  snap of a fingers the models removed the easterly flow & moved the winds back from south to SW - hence all rain

since then the middle ground is being modelled-

tonights aperge modelled snow all the way places North of the region - cambridgeshire etc- south of london sleet - SW rain

ECM very similar with back edge snow

GFS all rain pretty much-

evaporational cooling could be a saviour but its light PPN when it gets to kent :(

Still coming down. Settling on the car, up to 0.3c but quite a lot of precip.

Technically it is snowing here in Burgess Hill. But you have to be quite an expert to see it!

Can't believe we are getting so excited over a little cluster of  showers lol, 3 years and of no snow and it comes to this, what would ever happened if  we got a snow storm.
