Anyone under the green shading of the below able to confirm if it has turned to sleet?

I wouldn't go by precip-type radars too much. They're not 100% accurate, they're only using hi-res model data to 'gauge' what might be rain/sleet/snow.

I'm sure a few folks maybe seeing some wet snow under it though. :)

Hello and welcome to Netweather as I see this is your first post! Went over the Beautiful Malverns  this evening at British Camp and at a height of 338 meters you would of thought the temps would of dropped off quickly with that height. Only dropped half a degree from 5c to 4.5c , Lapse rates were rubbish, Not a chance of a flake of snow....

Evening all, been absent from posting in here for a while, but always been reading!

Temperature is starting to fall away after hovering around 4c today, now down to 3.9c DP at 2 (Yuck).

The front edge of the PPN appears to be stalling from the last few runs on the radar, its sure taking its time moving east!

Well it's taken 3 1/2 hours to drop 0.9C to 3.6C.

and STILL there's a warning for snow?? Seriously? Either someone somewhere knows something incredible that we've all missed or we need a warning that a flake of snow might be visible somewhere in the region at some point tonight
