So, are you seeing the weather coming or going?

Going, today. Unless we get an Easterly with a ch-low. :)

Some say we're heading for another little ice age due to a deep, prolonged Solar minima, if so we may all live ....now that really is the far reaches of FI.

OK, OK, so who leaked the Daily Express front page for Monday?

OK this has to be seen as ramping, do we allow such things in this calm environment?:sorry:

If ramping is banned here I'm off to the South-East forum!

Been lurking in the Mod Disc thread of late, and it came to my attention that every point in the UK was mentioned for possible snow apart from the South West, it was as if we did not exist.  BUT now it's 'South West will get a pasting if the Atlantic is undercut.'  Now the South West gets a look in.  As we are in prime position for these Atlantic driven South Westerlies and they have not let up at all for months, sometimes one after the other, I have a feeling that the South West will leave all the others parts with literally egg on their faces.  We are in prime position for a swift fallout, that's my belief reading between the lines on the Mod Disc thread.  What do you guys think  ?? :D

Hi Karlos,

yes I do hope so it seems we have more  chances going for us than other areas.  That would irritate them.  Oh by the way how is the little one getting on. (toddler) by now I should think.

I think it is wishful thinking... When was last time you remember a stalling front over the west country to materialize or even a channel low?

Actually when was the last snow event full stop? :nonono:

When I was in the west, they stalled in the east; when in the east, the stalled in the west; and when I was in the middle, they stalled 'elsewhere'...

Right you lot. This damn new baby of mine stops me from coming on here more than 2 minute at a time so I can't read stuff in depth. Can I have a quick low down on the snow? Is it due tomorrow still - If not where and when if at all? Thanks chaps and chapeses!

Congrats on the wean, Beka. But, as for snow, you, like me, will be either lucky or unlucky - the situation is very marginal...:D

I think colder and a lot drier looks to be the form horse for the foreseeable future now.

Best get down to Halfords and stock up on De-Icer before they put the price up.
