The temp still has a way to drop here. Currently 5.6C, with a 3.7C DP. Certainly looks interesting tonight though.

The Galtees looked pretty spectacular during the weekend, hopefully more of that this week.

Showers in Donegal turning wintry now on the radar.

big temp drop today from 8.5c this morn at 9am to 2.5c at 7pm. some v heavy wintry showers coming through with hail and sleet.

Last shower was snow and graupel. Left a light dusting on the cars. Tempsford have dropped like a stone. Looking forward to some lying snow by morning.  Well hopefully. Have had nothing this winter yet.

Yea Sperrin. On met office radar that shower off the Donegal coast is 16-32mm Rainfall (mm / hour)

Heavy snow showing for me between 4 and 9. Should be a Wintry morning.

Credit were credit is due, the met warning was due to begin in 15 mins and bang on cue the snow is hammering down here. Ground completely white already. That shower moving into Donegal at the minute looks pretty tasty. Heading straight at us here in Tyrone as well!

Good snow dog, you should be getting something very soon as shower that just past here has given the first covering of quite a bit tonite.....or at least I'm hoping quite a bit

It's lying in the city center now but I left home about 40 mins ago and already had a covering up where I live.
