Lovely blue sky start to the day with plenty of sunshine. A bit of thin high cloud appearing now but light winds so not too shabby a day. Just a pity I'm stuck in work despite it being a Bank Hol for a lot of people.

I am off to work at 2pm today so I feel your pain.

When we had settled weather it was cool and cloudy. Today's unsettled weather is this:

Aye, there's certainly going to be quite a bit of rain for some parts of Scotland today, there will be local flooding on the roads with this in the affected areas:

Morning all,

After a lovely day yesterday, it's dry here in Crail, it's been a dry month, rainfall about 16mm.

As Catch says a wet day for many but in this kind of set up we'll likely stay mostly dry.

Very busy week picking stones and havesting last of turnips in ideal dry conditions. Currently overcast  with light  rain and 7c

    General perception from many is that April was a cold month, but statistics would suggest otherwise, with the average temperature for the whole month coming in just above the 30 year average for the UK as a whole.
