Yep - just getting a little heavier now.

edit - the band is weakening as it hits the snowshield. TOORP alert in Braehead has been issued.

Are you back in Stirling?

If not, when you are let me know if there is any snow please haha :)

Snow almost stopped here now :(

Still going here, albeit the flakes are somewhat smaller. foot holes and damage from last day or say almost covered again.

It's trickling down just now...like God's trying to get every last grain of salt out of his shaker.

Just back from our walk, we had proper snow for a while, nice fat flakes enough to give a light covering to the pavement outside the house. Still coming down but smaller lighter flakes now.

Nice start to the weekend :D

I'm giving up again! Radar shows the heavier stuff missing me to the south. What's over me now is delivering absolutely nothing!

I'd be very surprised if it gets any further east than Edinburgh but you never know!

I'm now back home: 1c here in Crail, high cloud but you can see a bit of blue sky above.

Been snowing away in Ayr for last hour solid nice wee cover

Glad to hear it Aggy - you and I compete for being probably the most snow-starved on this thread!

That heavier band appears to be thinning and splitting over Fife,  so I guess that's me sawed aff!:D

Snowing really heavily now and some big flakes and is turning everything white pretty quickly. Wasn't GFS the first model to predict the High Pressure this weekend? Looks like it got it wrong then? So was ECM or UKMO closer to the mark? Is there any more snowfall expected over the coming few days?

Wee tip- don't leave a birdbath your partner bought their mother for her birthday outdoors, thing was frozen forkin solid to a paving slab, took an eternity thawing it so we were late and I was discarded in the bad books. Was initially telling her she'll maybe get it towards the end of next week? or we could take the paving slab too and put some glitter and a wee bow on it??

As HC is saying, little prospect for the north here today with zero precipitation about but currently  -3c with a crisp snow cover so it's how January should be, looking to the next few days for more

Have fun today further south kilties, hope it's bountiful
