Another late season Red River special risk Monday evening with all severe possible as pre-trough super cells move into a corridor of very looped hodographs.

My old favourite Altus to Woodward, OK in the firing line.

Should be some good viewing over the next few hours on TVN storm chasers currently gathering near the and texas oklahoma border .10% tornado risk as supercells form later this afternoon and into the evening, Listening to Reed Timmer earlier he reckons there could be some large tornado's with the current favourable conditions,

Down in College Station, TX at the moment, decided not to drive north and chase in the end. But blimey it's muggy. My flight to Atlanta tomorrow morning may encounter some issues...

A tornado on the ground within a stone's throw of a blizzard warning.

Don't you just love the US climate?

Indeed.

Multiple tor warned storms now.
Cell near Liberal, KS decent markers.

Kelley Williamson near Claude, TX - large funnel.

Bryce Kintigh - Liberal, KS. Large funnel - nearly on the ground.

That's me done.
Potential worst case scenario for several hours as darkness falls - nocturnal tornados.
If you've ever experienced good visibility, flat terrain daylight chasing, you can imagine what night-time can bring in rain and hail and hilly terrain. Not for the faint hearted it has to be said.
Several towns currently under the gun.

Wild night over some parts of the plains...4 or 5 large wedge tornado's at various points. 41 reported Tornadoes - which is about 80% of November's entire average in one night!
