I am currently nin new Milton and it feels like April with the sunshine and convective showers.

I really want to hear some thunder today, even if it is just one clap.

It is just fine and sunny here, despite how bad this month has been this weekend has been pretty solid albeit not feeling like winter at all.

Trust me to go out when Decembers worst rain shower hits!

Popped out, on the way to the shops it was just lightly raining, come back out the shop and there's a bloody monsoon going on

Arrived home looking like I've just got out the bath, fully clothed!

On the mulled wine now :drunk-emoji:, shame about work tomorrow, and Tuesday and New years eve eh.....

It has clouded over now with some ominous looking clouds so maybe we could squeeze out a shower.

I was working in Norwich City centre this weekend doing cable work and working in tee shirts, however me and my colleagues were laughing so much to see how many people were dressed if it was -10c scarves, woolly hats, temps have the been if it was early May so you wouldn't wear them then would you lol!

wow it's really coming down here now, everything except thunder. Heavy rain, hail, wind with the shower. Though it was a squall till I checked radar.

Hi all

Yesterday was a bit of a disappointment here, was mild but also had rain/drizzle most the afternoon on and off.

Today started lovely with sunny spells but now is clouding up ahead of this afternoon's rain.

Christmas Eve looks Wet during afternoon but a clear night so we may catch a glimpse of Santa's sleigh before Midnight then it clouds up again before he starts to park in the gardens ;) Christmas Day looks like it will get milder and milder as the day goes on lol leading into a mild & cloudy Boxing Day.

Me neither in the winter, it seems like summer time still. Only gets busy during thunder storm events then.

There was a heavy downpour here earlier, the skies have cleared now with conditions still mild.

Looks like 40-45mph or so along the south coast and where the reds are darker on the map. Somewhat less for the far SE corner and East Anglia at 35-40mph. These are gust windspeeds so the constant wind will be quite a bit less. Definitely a bit breezy though.

EDIT: See below...gusts up to 70mph. Sorry, thought the map was in kmph. Very breezy then.
