Rather bizzare here at the moment like a constant jet rumble in the sky for the last 20 minutes at one point it got very windy

I must say I'm less sure on tonight's developments now or I think they may only affect S Wales and parts of the SW but otherwise right now is very interesting.

 

that was really only the forecast anyway storms in the midlands this afternoon moving N into northern england this evening rain/storms in the south coast moving NW merging into a band of heavy rain SW england and Wales

Funny how these storms have gone from heading NNE to more NNW west as they get closer to newcastle. I swear newcastle is the stom capital of england! lol

Torrential rain and close thunder. It fought it out briefly with another cell to the NE but this one has drowned it out now Observed 4 separate thunderstorms this afternoon - 2 overhead Epic day!
