Not so much lighting up, but flickering just a tiny tiny bit ;)

Several strikes in the last couple of minutes in the channel.  Looks like we're under starters orders!

Can't believe how humid it's got here in just 20 minutes - just a couple of shots of the sky to show how clouds are building.

I have a love/hate relationship with this sort of time, when we're waiting for storms to develop but still not sure where the most severe/active ones will be. I'm staying put for now though, hopefully in an hour or two the picture will be clearer.

The view I have. Sky is like waves heading north east. Pretty windy too. No visable lightening though. Darkening all around though. Errie.

Sticking here to see how develops but looks better to my north and south east.

Currently in village of nescliffe.

Well, there's a clear ark of precipitation developing your way...but premature though unless the warm front is destabilising early.

Also of interest, not necessarily for the SE, the Channel storms moving due North. Most models envisaged either NNE or NE motion,

could that be of more interest to us though Harry - if some potent storms develop North-east France though ?

These storms look like they're moving straight-northerly? I thought they'd be moving NNE? In that case us lot in central southern England and the SE need cells to spark off more in line with the Caen and Rouen areas.
