Hope you enjoy them.  Watching lightning is like drinking i.e just one more or one for the road

On the first night in Irving we were treated to a wonderful storm, one bolt put the place into darkness

I must say that I do not now enjoy flash flooding - not that I ever did in the first place.  However during the mayhem there was one lighter moment.

Great videos Tom, thanks for sharing, that thunder was incredibly loud, and the flashes of lightning insane :)

This day we were south of the I40 in Oklahoma, Ian will remember because he left his credit card in a gas station.   This was a huge supercell which we originally attempted to get south of but soon realised it was moving pretty quickly.

I think that I can see a thin tornado in this video part way through to the left and above the nearest set of car lights.  I will post an earlier shot where it became obvious that we were not going to beat the storm.

This was an attempt to get south of this monster but Paul soon realised it was going to eat us for tea.  Listen to the man on the radio advertising and outdoor family event, I think not.  Maybe a pool party with your garden being the pool.

A beauty

as I mentioned in my last post some briefings do not go as planned- if there was ever a plan to begin with.  I want to apologise in advance for my swear word.   I got a bit confused about  which state or country I was actually in.
