Glorious out, Temp here 20.8c at 10;13am and feeling very warm in the strong sun, Will be interesting what we max out at today. As TM put's local records could be broken over the next few days.

24 C now, clear apart from a few rogue altocumulus (thunderstorm portents? Or just nuisance cloud?). Easily warmest day this month and year already, and only just past 11am.

Exactly 26°C now, which was our predicted max for today............with several more hours of warming still to come.

A 30 would be pretty splendid, if that's your thing. Tonight should be a tester with temperatures set to remain in the or close to the 70F bracket until dawn. Odd rogue flash and rumble perhaps.

My watson is saying 28.5c with an 8 mph breeze from the south.

Been cutting the grass/hedge and now feel hot! First time this year, and its passed 25C, 28 maybe for the high? Would be warmer than any day in 2012, 2010, 2008 or 2007 if it got to that.

Looking like the main interest of the week (Storms) will do their absolute best to avoid us again this week. To the west tommorrow, to the east by the end of the week. Very frustrating! Sat here sweating my head off, doing all the hard work. Hopefully a reward comes our way.

Weatherobs has a few stations reporting temps of 28°C and even the occasional 29°C to the NW of Birmingham at the moment.

 

Currently 27.6°C here, but not feeling too humid so far.

Passed the 80 F mark, mostly sunny but I wish these patches of AC would stop blowing out of Wales. The wind is SEly, they should be heading west not east.

28.4°C now, which makes today hotter than anything I recorded throughout 2014.

Goodness only knows what tomorrow is going to end up like!

Very clear air so far as its from the SE,cloud now all gone currently 26.9c

2 years ago was pretty hot but today just beat that by not a lot at 0.1c
