Turning mostly cloudy overnight, mild. Dawning overcast, showery reached rain moderate at times spread from the west around 06:30 GMT accompanied by a marked drop in temperature. A clearance arrived before the observation allowing sunny spells, feeling cold in the moderate westerly wind. No further showers here, some good sunny spells developing, though cooler and more breezy than recently.

Showers to start becoming windy with continuous rain before drying mid afternoon to give a little sunshine and much calmer,max 10 deg,min 4 deg

A marked drop in the Fox House area as the front cleared, from about 10C to 4C in fairly short time, dropped to 3c on the highest section in the car on the way back towards Sheffield, windy and for a time pretty wet after a dry start.

A dry and windy morning and early afternoon with a few sunny intervals at first. Rain arrived by 1400 g.m.t and was briefly heavy before a longer spell of light-moderate rain. The wind decreased with the arrival of the rain and there was a marked fall in temperature.

The rain cleared by 1800 g.m.t and the cloud cleared soon afterwards.
