A windy night with short moderate-heavy showers of snow and hail. Just over 1cm of lying snow and hail early this morning but it's thawing steadily in the sun and will certainly be less than 50% cover by 0900 g.m.t.

Very windy overnight with gale force westerly gusts, frequent showers too. This morning so far, very windy, sunny spells, showers in the vicinity. Continuing very windy with winds gusting close to gale force, blustery wintry showers of hail also, sunny spells. Feeling cold with the temperature up and down sharply in showers.

Mostly cloudy with sunny spells and occasional spots of light rain. Temperatures were around average for this point in the month.

Dry and breezy with sunny spells in the morning, cloudier in the afternoon with light showers.  Maximum 10.9, minimum 3.5.  Wind moderate W.

 

Yesterday: mainly dry and windy with sunny spells and a single short shower late afternoon.  Maximum 13.0, minimum 7.4.  Wind fresh to strong WNW with occasional gusts to gale force.

Early morning snow showers turned to sleet and hail as the morning progressed, and then to rain this afternoon.

Less windy than yesterday but still a fresh to strong breeze on the tops.
