Pulled the same 21.8C. Noticed a change in wind direction this morning, wind in from the NNE - NE, so things may well warm up with an offshore breeze. Wind seems to be slowly veering to ENE.

Currently 11.8C

 

What have you got at 13:00 then fella? I'm guessing around 25°C? :)

24.5°C and still climbing @ 1.2C per hour, so some way to go yet under clear skies.

 

I still can't ge past 24.4°C from June 11th lol

 

I see tomorrow could turn out to be pretty crap, wet & cloudy according to the forecasts?

26.5C here at 13:00 :D  and such beautiful blue skies - it could be the Mediterranean. 44% humidity. Yes, and a gusty breeze too.

So nice to have crystal clear skies AND heat at the same time. All the days like today so far this year have had a nagging wind. 28C now.

Bournemouth is at 27°C

 

Like MP-R, that wind is a pain in the coccyx!

 

I haven't painted the on the blue, honestly.

Looks like that out of the window overlooking Richmond Hill , sea is looking a real azure blue.

Meanwhile @ home maximum appears to be 26.5C

Looking North as I drove to Westbury at 13.00 I could see high level cloud to the far North horizon, looking at the satellite there is nothing showing on either the visible or infrared for about 200 miles in that direction. Perhaps it is possible to see cloud that far away!

 

At present the humidity is only 44%, but that will probably rise through the evening and overnight as the plume strengthens and daytime heat is retained as well as a trough moving across at some stage. Nick F's convective forecast suggests a risk of elevated storms overnight for this region.

Of more interest to the SSW is a cluster of instability over Brest throwing out a few lightning returns recently moving NNE

Why is the temperature for London always incorrect on the homepage,it says London is currently at 26.4 when the City is easily 30 degrees now. Is there some kind of delay ?.

Maxed out (I presume!) at 28.7C at 15:45 today. Humidity is 38% and falling. Should go quite a bit higher tomorrow when that cool breeze dies out!


Why is the temperature for London always incorrect on the homepage,it says London is currently at 26.4 when the City is easily 30 degrees now. Is there some kind of delay ?.

 

Says 30 for Heathrow on the home page. I have a friend in Central France and they just posted a reading of 50.5C! (that's from a car, though, so maybe they need to get moving.)
