4mm of rain overnight, the most in one go since 2nd April!

 

Clearing into a fine morning now, sunny spells and Stratocumulus, 11.1c.

The NMM was the only model I looked at, that got yesterday's rain right. The Euro4 was in no mans land, same as the forecasts.

A welcomed 7.1mm of rain between 8pm and 4am. Currently sunny and 13.4°C

4.3mm overnight, now sunny spells and temp at 16.1°C about half an hour ago.

Bone dry here still as the rain skirted off eastwards and missed this area. A bright if cloudy morning. Keeping my eyes on the downpours to the south, could get some proper heavy rain later if it doesn't move eastwards too soon too.

Been out and about today, and it feels quite humid.

Sun pushed through around 14.30pm, let hope it was enough heating to trigger some storms

Had a nice little downpour which gave 2.1mm in 15/20 mins. Possibly, another short burst soon

 

 

 

Certainly a day of contrasts, sunny spells pushed the temp up to 15.7°C - It's now 12.1°C

9.5mm of rain in the last 22hrs. It has been so dry that it almost makes it significant.

Very today was much much better than expected, lots of sunny spells and quite warm. Only now is there a little light rain.

After a clear morning the dreaded Sc sheet encroached so rapidly became this.

Very frosty here in NE Somerset with my valley location down to -2.7C around 6:00am this morning. Currently 11.2C with convective cloud slowly developing.

Got down to 0.4°C but no frost. Currently sunny,11.3°C with a little convective cloud.

Slight frost, soon gone.  Blue skies and warm sunshine all morning, temp maxed at 15.1°C, then the cloud came, stayed dry, but temp down to 10.1°C a few minutes ago.

Once the Sc sheet cleared it's been a cracking day here with just a little small Cu and max around 10C.

Another scraping ice job again today with an overnight low of -0.4°C and now climbing rapidly.

Our car doors were frozen this morning, to blame were heavy showers before midnight and a quick drop to frost temperatures before things dried out.

 

Beautiful day today with plenty of sunshine and a fresh WNW breeze.

Have had a thin line of showers forming over the top of me for the past 90 minutes. Plenty of hail mixed in with them too.

I could see the black clouds from here, Tobertron!  The whole lot missed us, all we got was a few spits and spots about half six.

 

A great start to today which rapidly went downhill this afternoon, chilly breeze and a lot of cloud, but no rain.
