Morning had some heavy snow here in bath about 730 and its staring again, very wet but nice to see!

I agree with NK above, yes the next few hours do look very interesting with a right ole mix of weather phenomena on offer. Cornwall getting plenty of action as I type this. A radar watch day for sure and a good day for a bit of convective shower photography.

Pretty snowy up on bodmin moor and on the A30 through devon this morning!

Brief heavy hail/sleet shower just moved through. Clearing again from the west. These kinds of days I enjoy!

Heavy snow here for about twenty minutes. Big wet fflakes nothing settled. Back to rain and sleet now. Obviously very marginal here. Heavier bursts brings the snow though. Temps have falling from 2.7 down to 1.4. Dew point -0.5

Slow thaw here currently although I have managed to add a met office snow day to this winter as of 9am  officially making it snowier than last winter (not hard) just hope to see a few more showers before day is out

 

Looks slightly hit and miss for next hour or 2 regarding those who see showers although development out to south of Ireland and west or Cornwall looks more substantial for widespread heavy showers which could lower WBFL as they pass through.

Driving about this morning I could see the Mendips covered in white against black sky in the background. Had another sleety shower recently and back to sunshine. If only it were just that little bit colder!

yes I've been watching that shower, it looked like moving across Somerset but took a slight north-eastward track as it got closer fizzling on the southern flank and intensifying on northern flank I do hope this isn't going to be a running theme today..

had a shower 15 mins ago that had a bit of everything, rain, then hail, then sleet and snow.

Yes it's rather annoying the way showers seem to weaken in just the bit that goes over your location. Started snowing very briefly a minute ago as the sky came over really dark but since stopped again. Need the showers to pep up a bit!

Just had a whiteout out here not far from Modbury, in South Devon, where I am on holiday.

Just had rain sleet hail wet snow plus one clap of thunder all in 15 mins ,just waiting for the rainbow .settling on some of the hills around here but most of the showers  seem to be decaying as they run in land atleast some action today ,cheers .
