Looking at the current streamer ( the only one )

Entry point is felixstowe heading WSW crossing over the QE2

Anyone on that trajectory looks to see a few more flurries

Sky clear here currently which is fine - clearing the wet ground.

Temp will be dropping-

Heavy driving snow here at the moment, covering everything but looking at the radar this might be the last shower of this current spell here as the alignment is taking it just to our South now

Can I just reiterate that Gatwick Airport are calling staff in for snow clearing duties tonight

Dont despair just yet, the potential is there

Not that I give these much credence given recent performance but this is the 'nowcast', so it doesn't add up. Unless it's that small window at 7pm and they're being ultra-cautious (likely).

It must be very patchy as there has been reports of heavy snow pretty much all around me, but we've had nothing.

It has been quite amazing in our area, was better earlier this afternoon here, had a right proper snowfall for 5mins.

That wind is definitely pushing the showers onto the essex and suffolk coast right now cutting of showers to kent and looks like showers are dying in the north sea. Click to watch last hour or so (shows one hour ahead as Dutch time)
