not really..it's very patchy in corners and up against the fence, it's too wet now and the snow is fine..

Much better than the down beat dross lol.. I agree though the facts do need to be stated that the wind is not favaourable for a thames streamer.. NOR is the preasusre really.. You want a trough sitting just of the east coast in the easterly then your game on!

Aye... If anyone gets any laying snow this pm onwards they shall be the lucky folk, not expecting anything here.

I'm not expecting one, just reminiscing about feb 09 because it's not snowing and apart from some falls in my childhood, it is the best snowfall I've ever seen.

Surely if people want to discuss Thames streamers then they can

It's a weather forum

Regardless if it's going to happen or not.

Surely people reading the comments are not 4 and believe everyone's view as that's how it's going to happen.

200 metres above sea level makes all the difference!

I used to live in Purely which is about 100m above sea level and the elevation does make a difference....

judging by some of the cars I've just passed in Guildford, the South Downs have had a decent dusting this morning

Looking at all the parameters for tonight I would say the flow alignment is NOT condusive to a thames streamer - it looks more like a Mid kent streamer flow to me ( or even east kent.)

Hi Steve. Good to see you back posting on the Mod Discussion. Hopefully signifies there's still some possibilities left for this winter!

If you've got time, could you remind me who stands to benefit from a "Mid Kent Streamer". I suspect I'll be a bit too far west, having of course been too far south and east so far this week.
