Excellent!!! Beginning to snow fairly heavily here (6 on the Murr scale), actually doubled up on lying snow in the past 5 minutes.

It's weird my radar has said no snow or rain over me at all by have had light snow for at least 45 mins. Not complaint though

Just looked out before going up, and there's still a nice halo around the moon, in fact it seems to have got even bigger if that's possible, I'm so glad I got to see it, the first one I've ever seen.

Light snow falling in Surbiton, a millimetre or two over the cars, pavements and roofs. My first falling snow, that I have seen, in two years:)

If you don't mind me asking what site are those precipitation charts from.

The light snow has settled and now looks like a hard frost but lots of sugar on top

Sorry, was staring out of the window!! :)

They are from the NetWeather free radar!! http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=radar;sess=

Ah. I nearly said not netweather is it. I'm a lazy sod sorry. There seems to be a bit of a spike just to the north and east of me on the last frame of showing . :-))))

Stopped here about 10 mins ago, got about 4mm here, so no snowballs and the toboggan is back in the cupboard, but nice to see and it isn't melting on the roofs yet.

Hoping that there might be a wee bit more shortly, looking like there is a line of moderate snow running in a narrow band from just South of Norwich, through NW London and in a line through to Poole in Dorset.

Hahahahaha! It's pretty well all here on NW if you know where to look... If not, just ask!!

Mr Murr I see the estuary is showing signs of firing up.

Keep positive mate. Followed netweather forums for about 3 years and find your posts in particular awesome . Snow picking up here again about 4 on your scale . It never got past it but better than expected

Is a streamer starting to be set up along the thames estuary? Precipitation has expanded quite markedly in the last 30mins and intensifying

Ppn beginning to pick up in a line in Kent just South of the Thames Estuary, so those in North Kent might profit from a smattering...

(EIT: Just saw everyone in Kent reporting what I just said... oops)  :D
