I reckon a northerly flow definitely benefits our peninsula. Get the streamer set up with the cold in situ and it's game on. The beauty is that 12 hours ago no one knew it would happen!

Seems to stream down from our North a treat

LOL - Let's face it. We all know it's going to fizzle out.

I agree with Jay's comment earlier, it is intensifying and slowing up as it gathers more momentum, at least so far.

Oxford region first to get hit any minute now.

Looks like anywhere from Bristol westwards won't see any of it now.

That was my prediction earlier sadly, but lets not prejudge the unjudgeable just yet.  :D

Fergie Weather

W COUNTRY Light snow is now edging into N of #Cotswolds. This will extend S tonight, with some modest accumulations, esp parts of Glos/Wilts

W COUNTRY CONT'D ...so @metoffice has extended Yellow Warning for (limited) snow impacts W, into N & E #Gloucestershire & most of #Wiltshire

To anyone in Yate, Winterbourne areas drive up past Tormarton and i reckon that area could be the Western edge of it.

I reckon there might be just enough SWestwards momentum to help it edge into Bristol if it maintains its intensity (which is doubtful).

Yeah Tormarton, Wootton, anywhere along "the edge" may get lucky.

If correct, this should start to head in a general Southerly direction soon. I wouldn't say Its a miss at all!
