Haa, Haa FK, day off today, so went back up to Princetown for my fix this morning!!!

Really pleased you guys in Cornwall have finally had a few flakes.

Did you have to Google to find out what those funny floating white things were?

 

I nipped up early yesterday morning before all the brainless types came up and blocked all the roads!

Another heavy band of snow heading through dartmoor currently. Bugger is I can't get out of work for another 20 minutes!

My lovely local weather station www.southamptonweather.co.uk reckons we have a 40% chance of some wet snow showers tonight. (Just shows how bad the last two winters have been that that forecast can put a smile on my face!)

 

Looking at the radar the ppn coming in from the North Sea over Humberside looks like it could track due South and come towards the snow-starved central south coast (please, please!)  IF those greedy beggars in the Midlands don't suck it all out of the sky... :diablo:

 

Netweather forecast gives me nothing, btw, so I'm not talking to them! :nonono:

Even in 2010 I think the Lizard was largely unscathed!

Yep,2010 was largely a non event here. Last snow day was Jan 13.

 

Snow stopped now but was heavy for 20-30 mins,everywhere white.

It's official the Isle of Wight is the WORST place to live if u want snow!!! :(

I thought there was a report of snow there the other day? Saturday night maybe?

Yep,2010 was largely a non event here. Last snow day was Jan 13.

 

Snow stopped now but was heavy for 20-30 mins,everywhere white.

Nice to see the Lizard is still beating me in terms of snow! 2 snow days for you, and it's settled... I've had the measly couple minute graupel shower earlier which didn't settle at all!

On goes the hunt!

I'm working in Warwick this week.... If any pass this direction I will be sure to fire them down to your neck of the woods.  :)

The sky has had a 'snow is approaching' look to it all day but alas nothing has materialised and in fact the cloud is thinning now so should be another cold night. Certainly felt very wintry throughout today even if minus any wintry precipitation.

Snow north Plymouth. Praying I can get back to home

amazing huge flakes here and settling. Currently by the airport. I want to get home....traffic gridlocked. The great storm of 2015!!!!

Eastern parts of Hampshire forecasted to get a bit of Snow Tonight. Hopefully a dusting for Portsmouth. I won't hold my breath though.

Could this include the iow?? I c met office have light snow for us tomoz 6,7,8 am! Believe it wen I c it tho!!

Came down thick and fast for about 40mins and settled :) still on the lawns, hedges and rooftops
