Maybe this next line out west has our name on it guys

Definition of 'our' might be needed, as I'm sure it had its sights away from Wirral in any case.

Polar Climate where are you in wirral?

Inland Cumbria looks like it's getting pasted on the radar! Quite a few road closures being reported. Missing the ppn here, just on the edge of it!

Not here mate loool need to move Carlisle to the top of a hill

Well so far nothing in Kendal with the exception of a couple of flakes. Wind has dropped too and doesn't feel that cold out. Jus t have to hope for something better later in the night.

Looks like a small window for snow into tomorrow as the uppers are set to rise during Thursday and more so into Friday, before the even colder northerly blast at the weekend.

You did and I was standing in the middle of my field with my dogs, frightening the life out of me, so I ducked down as low as I could to walk and got back into a safer place!!!

thought so lol

Had a really intense hail shower

Well no need to open the curtains here, I can tell you it's frequent rain showers rattling the glass amid a howling gale.

After hail and snow around 4.30pm I thought it would be snow all the way tonight.

Lots of activity out West which is likely to carry on through the night. Should be some nice accumulations around the region by tomorrow morning.

Hearing lots of reports of snow lying - yet here it is green and we are under the amber warning.. mmm something isn't quite right..

That band over SW Scotland has our name on it!! lol... It's been snowing here and the temp drops 2/3c in the showers but the problem is the wind is so strong and the showers move through too fast! But yes some good accumulation over parts of Cumbria! Imagine it's quite interesting over some of the high level routes just now with drifting snow.
