Its not fair though as its fair coming down now covering the grass a bit but roads and pavements way too wet otherwise we would have a great covering by now. The thundersnow was amazing though!

Usual tripe in Preston so far this evening. All the decent shower activity is just somehow missing us!!!  :wallbash:

Not enough embedded cold W NW wind too mild Drizzle here at Salwick although it was an interesting drive home from E Lancashire border.

I think its more of a lightning feature than a snow one here. I did enjoyed the lightning. It is weird I haven't heard any thunder though.

Mostly rain here now. Must be in a milder sector at the moment.

 

Yes it has just started to turn sleety again here, still a smattering of a covering but won't last long with whats falling now!

Just when I had given up hope of snow the roads are turning white! I thought this was going to be another huge fail - Lovely flakes of snow coming down now which is nice to see even though it will probably all melt or get washed away on Friday!

Couple of assessments on the Radar. Interesting cells appearing - big streamer expected from those.

also, lines of showers tracking south of Scotland have alot of convection development...could be interesting
