Away from coastal area's this Wed/Thursday looks decent, West facing Pennine area's the likely sweet spot.

Gonna show it again just in case if anyone have missed it from the last thread.

It is looking nice on the latest 6z GFS. :)  Below:

The warning should extend a bit further south and give us a amber if this verifies to the day.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Largely cloudy Tuesday with patchy rain. Becoming windier later with rain pushing south overnight. Colder on Wednesday and Thursday with strong to gale force northwesterly winds bringing frequent snow showers.

Must say im worried about missing the showers, i think we'll manage a couple but that it.

From the met office outlook Friday onward:

It will likely turn even colder through the weekend with sleet and snow showers, frequent across northern parts, with overnight frost and ice. Strong northerly winds, with gales in places, will accentuate the cold with a significant wind chill.

NICE!!!

Like the top chart(huge pinch of salt required)

3cm of snow along the coast up to 24cm over the Highest Peaks

The UKMO This evening is stunning the GFS not brilliant and quite marginal for low lying snow

for now I will stick with the UKMO,And the only reason for this is not the cold and snow, but all winter

They have been bang on the money, however it would be foolish to write of the GFS
