-1c dew -3c very hard packed snow..... Where footprints/tyre prints very slippy and iced up.....

Awaiting nnm 5km to update too.... Friends in kent reporting snow falling and laying....

Looking at the rainfall images it looks like east anglia & kent could get a decent fall if condtions are favourable.

Currently 3.1c & DP's -2.0c Still very breezy.

 

No chance that is Birmingham Snowangel.  that's my back garden :crazy:

Edit, The chance of light snow showers coming into the west of our region must because of the winds turning to a Northwesterly in the wee hours.

The last tiny bits of snow disappeared late morning here, though there was still a bit on the tops of the Clent Hills at dusk, which isn't bad going. It did feel very cold in the wind today, though, in spite of reaching 6 °C. Now down to 4 °C, but it's going to have to go lower than that for me to care much about tonight! I've had the transient slush now, so only proper snow will do from here on in!

For where? must need my eyes testing because I don't see it.

I can see loads over Glossop but that's not the Midlands so it doesn't concern us ;)

The possible snow is carefully arranged to fall heavily all around the midlands!!

Winds picking up here, still pretty mild. Dinner tonight is bangers and jackets with wine.

Winds picking up here, still pretty mild. Dinner tonight is bangers and jackets with wine.

I much prefer GFS and GEM, not a bad easterly showing on there snow possibilities, UKMO and ECM a bit pants DRY

I have my emergency snowboard folded up in the car....can't quite fit the pop up chair lift in though..... :search:

not as cold tonight, clear as a bell at 1.2C, thought clear would mean colder, was colder last night

Evening all :)

 

Crystal clear evening so far, but quite gusty. Current temp is 2.2°C with a Dp of -3.4°C

 

Smoked cod with chips for me tonight.
