Cloudy and frosty start here. Looking at the radar, there should be some light snow soon.

Light rain here, between Chislehurst and Elmstead Woods (Kent/London border).

Light covering of snow on all surfaces, from the earlier band of ppn that moved through a couple of

hours ago. We were right on the eastern extent of that band and nice to wake up to a covering.

Tom.

We've got a covering of snow here :) It's strange because I thought it was more likely to snow on Thursday/Friday morning!

Stevenage has proved a good spot for snow over the last couple of days in comparison to nearby areas....but it's a wintry mix this morning in which rain is definitely a feature!

looks like wet snow sleet here. I'm guessing north downs , thinking Box Hill Reigate Hill will be less marginal due to elevation

Whereabouts are you? I'm in Woodhatch and it's just changed from sleet to wet snow - you are right - I bet it's fun driving on the m25 on Reigate hill atm!

Daughter excited - not by snow but by hoped for tweet at 7.30am cancelling netball. Other daughter x-country running in St Albans - suspect less snow and runners made of hardier stock.

Snowing not lying in st albans

Woken to a surprise pretty dusting here in Epsom this morning! Gutted that we're forecast rain all day when it could've been snow given the hype about this cold spell.... however my first thought was to get up Boxhill today, lol!x

Eastnor Road near garden centre . snowing here now but you can probably see that :-) I suspect that slight height will mean all snow up there

I'm over towards Earlswood lakes...

Looked out of the front door and it's definitely proper snow now - sadly the ground is now too wet for much of it to settle... :(

Rain has turned to snow here, haven't seen flakes falling from the sky for ages. Not settling though because the ground is soggy. :cray:

Is the NW V6 radar working? It has a huge pink covering for all of London but it's raining.

Assume this means it's colder here in the east, hence snow....any chance temps would stay lowered because of already snowing?x
