This is no dig at anyone from the MO that offers input however one thing I have noticed over the years is when things are so marginal only a few put there neck on the line.

It's a bit like when someone offers up something sever that happens they will often watch from a distance for a day or two.

I fully admire those that do, can never be right all the time !!

Thanks for the reply, I must admit in the 3 winters I have spent on here I've never really seen mod thread so quiet (unless its all over)..

So a NE/ SW Snow/Sleet&rain event? Funny enough I'm exactly halfway between snowy Stanstead and Gatwick, fingers crossed

;-)

Well we still have the Euro4 v NMM (and in turn GFS) standoff I see

FWIW, Stansted Airport TAF is suggesting light snow between 1am and midday tomorrow

Similar suggestion for Luton

Heathrow and Gatwick are forecast Rain/Snow

So a bit of a mixed bag and in all honesty, as said yesterday, it's likely to come down to nowcasting (both temperatures and precipitation spread).

Keep an eye on those Dew Points everyone!

SK

handy link for temps on the left hand side you can change it to dew point, temp, wind etc.

FWIW just saw BBC24 weather forecast and had snow showing for North Kent coast for early tomorrow morning. Think it's all going down to radar watching and peeking through the curtains. Not expecting anything here but never say never. The snow we had this morning has all pretty much melted due to the rain that came after it, was nice to wake up to though. Good luck everyone

That is fine we each have different abilities - hopefully you gain much insight, we are well a friendly bunch, and if you have any question please do not hesitate to ask, we're all equals, glad you took the plunge. Elderly woman who lives near me who I've known for many years, says she can sense snow is in the air hmm.

Yes

Croydon is in the green and there is a 20% chance that you may get 1-3 cm's.... According to that amateur forecast :)

Don't set your expectations high though
