As nice as it is, I've got to go to Chipperfield this afternoon for football.

Either bucket it down, or stop.

Nice dusting here, and still coming down.

Had a small flurry here, lasted about 5 minutes giving a covering on some surfaces (this was at about 10) and it all has since melted:)

The snow shield from 2013 has finally been broken!

Weird, the warnings for tomorrow have disappeared from the met office website

Maybe taken down to be updated to snow? as GFS was a significant upgrade for the SE

strange isn't it ? sunshine & clouds are arguing here at the moment !

good to see some of us have seen some snow falling, just goes to show after the last 22 months, our expectations so high, but after constant let downs in output, we get excited at  dusting/snow falling.  :cold:

Well after a dusting (if you can even call it that) of snow on the cars and roofs this morning it's now all gone. Temperature quickly up to 3.6 from a low of -1.6 (lower than expected) and very light rain coming down now. The radar is saying sleet but nothing wintry right now.

Radar says yes

Reality says no

Not even any rain here

Enjoy your snow those folks that have it

I bet those people in up state New York, or even Turkey and Italy would be in hysterics over us and our excitement over a dusting .....

huh if the weather says a dusting of snow in new york everybody carries on and dont even look out of the window, here its an event!! now imagine if this event turned to major onslaught of snow in this forum, with no end in sight on the models?? Maybe one day it will happen..

The London shower is heading this way and in my sights (radar say a mix so fingers cross for a bit of luck).

Elsewhere on the radar, the norfolk blob is currently still delivering over north east Norfolk and another shower north of Ipswich which is giving snow to parts of Suffolk. Everything south of London is falling mainly as rain, though a little sleet or snow cannot be ruled out.

Considering the flack some of the models have got, they have actually forecast this quite well, even down to the areas which would get all snow and those that wouldn't.

I have a sleety mess. Right by Gatwick. Cold. I would think a heavier burst will bring a flurry of wet snow.

Which it did for about 1 min and now that would appear to be that.

Few flakes in a sleety rain mix in E4. So close to snow but no cigar. I suspect it is snowing 1 mile away in Epping Forest...

Unfortunately I didn't actually see one snowflake this morning! I woke up to see some on the roofs and cars I thought it was just frost at first. My dad brought a snowball in I'd forgotten what it felt like..!
