Still on course to record an ice day, first since March 11th 2013. Max so far of -0.3 degrees after a low of around -5 degrees. Current temp -3.4 degrees. Hoar frost lasting all day in sheltered spots, thickly coating and looking like snow.

Tomorrow will be a transitional day as the wind and clouds roll in from the west, but hoping to wake up to another white frost coated scene, unfortunately the next few mornings will be the other face of winter, dark grey and wet most likely.
