Morning All ! That shower Ross mentioned has just reached here and the sky is full - all good.

Looking at the hi-res models for the white stuff, we can see this band on NMM for overnight into Sunday tracking down the country, hopefully some snow for the North East who have been kept out of the fun in the NWrly regime.

Euro4 projections for mid-day, midnight, then 6am Sunday

Also keeping an eye on T-Mins on the GFS. Brrr.

With such variance in output from run to run, it's a case of watching the mesoscale modelling, faxes and down to a nowcast, speaking of which this is a nice looking fax.

Keep the pics coming if you are out and about and enjoy the snaw !

Mornin'Kilties! Nice to see that there's plenty of white stuff covering the land now! Lots of happy smiling faces on this thread! No further snowfall for Skye and nor am I expecting any. Temp -1.1c, pressure 994, very clear and frosty. Love it!

Alternating between rain and snow here, some of last nights snow fall has melted a little - you can see some blades of grass sticking out now.

Hopefully that heavy snow in Renfrew is heading for us.

I'd be so peed off if the council did that to my snowy road.

And there is the heavy snow now reached here. Hope it tops up last nights totals, not too much though because I want to go for a run.

Nice winters day,no wind, sunny, blue skies, a dusting on top of old patches, -1c and peppering of snow showers to the north and west. A pleasure to be outside

0.7c/0.3c/W/ partly cloudy.   Had exactly the same stats for a few hours now.   Nothing much happening at all here.   Looks a bit more hopeful overnight for some.   Never happy with a northerly here because everything piles up behind the mountains so will be very surprised if Fife gets anything.

Light snow around 2am onwards last night and then for half hour or so now the snow has been falling. I was due to have driving lesson yesterday then rescheduled for today but both lessons got cancelled due to roads being terrible so I will take hiis word for it ha! All 3 of main models looking better today which makes a happy MT unless you read IDO and Knocker :p

Light wet snow not making any impact. Last nights snow has halved and can't see it surviving until the next snow later tonight forecast to come down from the north.

Cloudy and dry here. 2.1/0.5. Most of the snow has melted except little bits on the grass and sides of the paths
