You must be colder then, any snow on your end?

Had 1-2cm of slush when i got up.... Washed away by sleety hail showers by 10am....this afternoon have had showers starting as rain/hail then turning to huge flakes but not laid.... Its been sleety flakey stuff with drizzly snizzle for last few hours... Nothing thats come over has really been anything but light to maybe moderate in intensity... If any heavier bursts had hit here itd laid, over the valley i can see the hills near the woodhead pass and where theyve had heavier showers it has laid enough to whiten equal height to here...

Lucky you, you'll probably see a good covering later!

6.0C at 5:30, now 4.4C @ 18:25. This is good, but the humidity is shooting up too, a long with the dewpoint, ideally need that drier, colder air to dig down as soon as possible!

Lightning showing up to the NE of Manchester, this is where the instability (thus colder air) currently lies. As the front pivots in another few hours from now, that cold air which is so annoyingly close, will be pulled down with it.

Diane Oxley is a mild ramper. Ignore. Pretty sure someone hit her in the face with a snowball once, as you get the impression she does her utmost to avoid saying the word snow.

more interested in what a lovely day it will be tomorrow and how quickly it will turn back to rain :(...

Yeah I agree with Carl above, ignore her. She loves mild, hates snow, and is ALWAYS wrong.

Much rather have Eeno back, or whatever her name is.

Well the temp has dropped here from 5.7 to 4.6° in the last half hour. BTW for those living around this area, data from my weather station can be accessed through a link in my signature which might prove useful to look at tonight.

Never forget the time I turned my bedroom TV on one morning, just about dozed off again only to jump about 2 foot in the air when Eno came on to do the NW weather. Bloody hell was she loud.

I'll never forget the time she was doing an outlook and she said that the following day temps would be halved (from 10C to 5c I think). Her grasp of meteorology was questionable to say the least.

HAHAHAHA, I just genuinely burst out laughing at this

"And now let's go to Eno with the weather"

THANKS GORDON, HELLO THERE, A LOVELY DAY TODAY WITH TEMPERATURES UP INTO TRIPLE FIGURES
