Just puddles here LOL

Weather warning still out for tonight, however Manchester northwards is my gut feeling for tonight, with us perhaps seeing

some back end stuff, which will do nothing with the ground been

so saturated

C.S

Manchester airport taf backs up the above, rain turning to snow

later in the night, good luck for members further north, you should

wake up to a decent covering, send us some pics

My heart sank a little when I saw last night's 00z, the colder air has been pushed northwards by a good 50 miles, with agreement on this morning's 06z. Really isn't looking good, that Met Office warning will most likely be revised later, wouldn't be surprised if it was taken off completely, but gut feeling is it'll get pushed northwards.

Anybody any idea when these winds are going to calm down? Off to bolton at 1.30pm then returning sometime after teatime.

Isn't even windy here, xcweather shows Manchester with nothing more than a stiff breeze either.

Lookslike met office holding back on updating wind and snow warning related to secondary low due to continued uncertainty....

Tell you what BT just watched the weather on news 24 and the

Graphics looked very good indeed, she mentioned the main risk

Was the N Midlands, N Wales and the NW

Check the 11.30 forecast out

Looks like the low my be further south, obviously the met

office have better technology, than what we can see

I hope the weather system coming up gonna bring us prolong hail that sticks to ground. It be a miracle if it did. :-)

Hail is our only hope and it is closest thing to being snow.

I take it back, just took the dog and the wind chill is about minus 5, gusting to 30-40mph in the open here.

Bit suspect about the triangle over west cumbria ,missing out ???....

Yeah that seems a little strange, either an error, or coastal modification, so snow less likely here?

This is what we need to keep those temps down to a minimum, evaporative cooling is fantastic
