Same as what will happen to the snow tomorrow night....LOL

Yeah I certainly wouldn't be putting my last fiver on getting snow from this event.

As ever the form horse will be downgrades but I'm happy to be proved wrong.

Me neither, definitely not getting over excited over this. If it does however then I'll be very happy, perhaps a bit of reverse psychology works  haha

So in which case, no snow below 200m+ and only settling at 300+ :p

Estofex showing sferics Now ,mainly North of the border ...

I saw a flicker out the corner of my eye and thought it might be then the rumble came, there was a long gap in between hence it wasn't very loud as it was far away.

Praying this comes off!

What are the chances of it happening?

Gone really windy here and the rain is battering down

Reasonable but by no means certain, there is a very good chance that somewhere will see those snow totals but areas can change, see the Met office updated warning tomorrow lunch time to see if the threat is still there.

Will do.  Thanks.  Be nice to get some cold weather to kill all these cold germs - just in time for the xmas break lol

Yes, I think we may be pushing it for a lot of snow over xmas, a really cold spell looks more likely in the new year than over xmas though in my opinion.

Lets keep our fingers crossed, even if it doesn't stick I love watching it fall.

I haven't a foggiest if it will come off, but reading around from storm reports. It sounds like the snow is being forecast but just being sleety stuff instead sadly.

There is a weather warning on met office but it doesn't cover the whole region.

I live southeast Manchester and the warning if you look only covers the north of greater Manchester so it's not looking good for me from a met office forecast point of view.

Ps snow lover yeah it's the new gfs :)
