Like another world here, temp fluctuating between five and 6°.

No frost here last night.

Yes we've had some snow over the last few days and yes much of it is still on the ground, certainly on the hills but we've had little in the way of frost.

Considering that milder and wetter conditions are just around the corner and without a chance of of a snowy beakdown it has been less than inspiring and compared to others, we've done ok.

Plenty of time left for winter conditions but as usual, everything seems to be continuously being pushed further into FI.

Well despite the temperature being around 5°c at 10 o'clock last night, we did in fact have an air frost. The minimum was -0.2°c. Very strange night, considering that some in land didn't get a frost as reported.

No frost here either as cloud interference kept the temperature above 0c. It's been an underwhelming cold spell in terms of temperatures and it is coming to an end today as a southwesterly flow is already starting.

According to the Met Office, the first two weeks of January are looking grim for cold!

IMBY this winter has been crap so far, even on the local fells which are around 300M above sea level there has been zero snow cover, absolute joke, am sick of seeing green!!!

Out with the dog this morning and conditions underfoot were very icy with lying snow now just on the fields, moors, grass.

That said though conditions were good and visibility certainly better than yesterday's mist and murk but a change is definitely occurring now with a bit more of a breeze and a milder feel to the day.

Currently 3.4c but on an upward trend so with rain and much milder temperatures in the forecast I'd expect that we'll probably lose the snow cover by NYD.

Both my weather stations are forecasting snow, think it's just with the temp being below freezing now and incoming rain

Clear starry evening here but still 2.7c.

Possibly a temperature inversion but it's coming to something when a so called winter cold spell can't even deliver frost on a clear night.....oh.and way up in the hills.

It must be an inversion as the temperature is 0.9 c even here. I think we might even get our 4th air-frost in a row tonight which would be the first time that has happened since 2010!

Guess what, still clear and now 3.2c.

Never mind at least the diabolical icy state of the pavements around here will improve quicker.

Far enough inland to keep the frost going here, skies have cleared.  4 in a row.  Might be some time before we get chance of another one.
