I don't even know why I'm asking you this, but is there anything heading towards me?

Stop laughing, just answer me please.

Looking at the radar no some showers to your east but they look like missing Newcastle

The radar looks quite good for the Newcastle area, few showers to hit there about half 10. Well so radar says lol. Edited by NorthEastSnow

Yes it is as its snowing quite moderately and not a breath of wind, 10p sized flakes gently falling. Would go out and take photos but I'm suffering with the Novo-virus..!

Good to see the east of the region in with some snow action over the next 24 hours, unusually so, Cumbria has been snowier than the NE so far this winter, especially Tyne and Wear and coastal regions.

Northerly/northeasterly airstreams are far more conducive for snow in the NE than northwesterlies. Tomorrow and into Wednesday could see some significant snowfall in places thanks to heavy convective showers..

Here its a bone dry scene, however, we are due to see the coldest temps of the next few days in England thanks to being under light winds and clear skies - pity we don't have a snow cover as some very low mins could be on the cards..

Nothing here.  I just drove back from shiremoor, where there is a light dusting.  Radar showing no showers on a track to hit North of Newcastle.  Temp now -1.8c

A wide area from London north and out west (mainly) is also getting a decent amount with more to come.

Someone pass me the voodoo dolls.

And western Ireland and western tips of Wales.  Even Cornwall.  If it rains here tomorrow night I am starting up at the local tiddlywinks club.  Its got to me more rewarding than this.

I have had nothing but praise for the met office this year they have got most stuff spot on. The one thing that they got wrong though is the warning for my area.

Next few days I expect rain.

I was under that snow to the NW of London (I live in Warwickshire during term time) and we got about half a cm, certainly nothing to be jealous of!
