I'll be well disappointed if this is all we're going to get on and off through the night.

 

Same here but there's a long way to go yet, we could do with the radar pepping up in the next hour then we il be in.

Heavy snow here, not sleety whatsoever, big flakes. Settling everywhere... what can I say just sweet.

Early days yet and you could get lucky later in the night. Snowing again now but thawing inbetween showers.

Slight covering everywhere now. All sparkling so looks as tho temps have dropped below freezing

The whole lot up towards scotland looks to be coming south to me. Should only be a temporary gap.

I am fairly new to this whole complicated world of predicting weather! Can one of the more experienced members tell me if the wind has slightly changed direction? It's just those showers currently on the radar appear to have changed to a more easterly direction.. Or perhaps it's wishful thinking!! Thanks in advance
