So the Met O have no storms for my area on Sat currently (lots of rain) but the netweather forecast has storms pretty much all day from 65% to 85%......still really far out for anything solid but it is looking like its gonna go bang!

Morning all. It's foggy here, though the sun is already working through this.

looks like a sunny and very warm day, though cloud could bubble up and bring a heavy shower to north western areas of the region.

Edit- the fog has already cleared to leave clear skies and strong sunshine.

Just about starting to clear here, i.e. skies a lighter grey than an hour ago!

Sounds like you're about to enter your first real sunny spell of the summer! Sounds like it has been a gloomy summer so far in Norfolk!

Lovely sunny start today but some annoying cloud rolling in now to ruin my sunbathing lol. Warm at 25C but not feeling especially humid. Nice breeze too. Looks like we could be on course for a good couple of weeks of beautiful summer weather. Long may it last!

We're well overdue a proper sunny spell, it's been a good summer so far for warm dry weather but there been very few days that have had unbroken sunshine. Today was looking good but likewise here in London some cloud starting to build

26.9c

Forgot to mention this earlier, a lot of people say when there's a mist in the morning theres a hot one ahead, is there any truth in that?

Anyhow, so much mist around this morning, the smoke alarm went off at 7am! It has never done that before.  :cc_confused:

A less balmy 23.7c here, but not much in the way of a breeze. In recent summers the far south east has been plagued by north-easterlies, so it could be sunny but was not really that warm, and sitting outside towards sunset and after was distinctly chilly. Doing better this year so far. Heading to the Chelmsford beer festival on Friday, so will sample the weather over t'other side of the water, as well as the odd pint or eighteen. Can almost guarantee that any thunderstorms on Friday / Saturday will, as a result, be confined to East Sussex.

I used to have an old weather book that said mists and fog in summer (inland) were usually precursors of a heat wave! So we shall see lol. Though gone grey here now, boo. Stupid cloud, do one!

Started off sunny, then went overcast now it looks like the sun is trying to break though again. Luckily, lil ones school are having a 'feel good' week and she is in wearing shorts to school all week.
