Still hearing the odd low rumble in the distance here too but not as much as it was.

Not quite reaching up this far and on my radar it looks like they are starting to now die down?

Just the one flash of lightning to the west and the storm seems to have skirted round and heading south.

Drat! Wanted a repeat of Thursday night.

It is raining steadily though.

Temperature 20.6 c

Humidity 79%

Pressure 1014.8mb

Recorded over an inch of rain today, all which fell in about 90 minutes  :shok: , 26.4mm

My friend told me about that and sent me some photos of the flooding too!  That was some storm!

Think he lives down your street! Lightning here but missing all the rain and thunder, too far away!

Default Norfolk summer has returned. Overcast with light drizzle. Yawn. Might as well be on another planet.

Not a drop of rain in NW London, it's not  only planet Norfolk that missed everything!

Know Cowbit (Cubbit :) ) very well. Great views and awesome sunsets. Seen some good storms there in the past. Shame it didn't deliver today.

Didn't get much of a show here in SE London today. The storm from the east seemed to follow the Thames and then die out.

Much cooler tonight which is welcome. It's been a fun few days of weather watching...

Didn't get direct hit here but was able to see storm SE, then had one I could see to my NW down to the W of me. Some good lightning captures.

Ironic that had best storms outside of the Amber warning period on Saturday.

Wow...I'm not that far from Gravesend and had nothing like that. Seems like the storm followed the Thames from east to west?

Some heavy burst of rain here ( a few distant rumbles of thunder) it helps to cool it down (did bugger up the BBQ though)

As my account has been suspended I have created this new account so I can share my apology -

I apologise for the language used throughout my posts and thread title last night, I had had a little to drink and therefore was not in a position to fully control my actions, although I understand this is no excuse for my actions. In the future I will use more consideration when in such circumstances.

I hope I can be forgiven for my actions and my suspension lifted.

Many thanks,
Ihatecoldweather

Still 23C here, windows open but this is what is summer is about, the models show no signs of cool down either.

Being told to lettuce off is hardly offensive, so no worries from this end!
