Well nothing is coming my way now for hours. As last night's severe storms kept me awake until 3:00am I am off for some shut-eye and hoping I will be woken by some action later in the night, or more likely early morning. Night all!

The main area of thunderstorms is still a long way to the south, over the Bay of Biscay in fact. The region isn't forecast to see it's most significant weather until the early hours of tomorrow morning, 2am at a rough guess but possibly later

That's the first part of tonight's forecast!  Main part is over Biscay at present.

Fantastic electrical storm here, been going for over half an hour now. Just spits and spots of rain which is fine by me

Had some amazing lightning off the coast of Cornwall last night.

iow  radar is going  daft  looking some very bad storms soon in the south  east  with in the  hour

Nice pics, the quiet thunder is because it's mostly intracloud, I've been calculating it to be 2-3 miles distant vertically so pretty high.
