Well some exciting weather may draw in a crowd :D

Very hot today may be 26c or so - but feels like the low 30's. Friday will be like a sauna, for here 32c I'm going for somewhere within London, the forecasted temps seem low considering the uppers.

Already feeling uncomfortable here. Not looking forward to the hot nights!Just posted this in the convection thread but thought I'd pop it in here as well as it might be of interest.

 

 

Not sure if this has been mentioned but BBC Weather has tweeted that from now on the 21:55 weather forecast on the news channel will be a 5 day forecast and a 6-10 day 'trend' forecast.

 

Should be interesting given the now-casting nature of thunderstorms. I'm sure they'll be alot of hesitation/uncertainty, with reliatively brief but broad reaching comments regarding the extent of anything electrical.

High humidity, not bothered - I'll just switch on aircon in bedroom.

Pretty nice down here in the fleet of Ben, calm, 21.6c very still out, someone has their summer music blaring lol

 

Max temp today of 26.1c at 4:38pm, GFS max only showed 21.9c  :nea:

It's been a lovely day, reached 26C here, with a light breeze. Not too hot at all, perfect in fact! Could be 17C cloudy and windy, now that's vile at this time of year lol

Should be dry, though an isolated shower could occur later in the day.

Temperatures - 25-28C. Could get close to the highest temperature this year (so far) in any sunnier spots.

Variable flow, backing east/south east later on in the day

850s similar to Wednesday.

There could be quite a bit of high cloud around due to the decaying front. Otherwise it should be dry and sunny.

Temperatures - 25-28C, maybe a tad cooler on the east coast today as the wind swings round.

 

Friday

Note the trough, there could be some thundery showers in the western fringes early on.

Winds are from the south-east, light to moderate.

A thunderstorm cannot be rule out.

Heat really building with 850s of 16-18C

Temperatures - 28-32C, cooler on the coast (low to mid twenties).

Has the cubic nature of the Earth now been proven?

 

It's clouded up here again. I can't see it getting much below 18°C outside overnight. Yuk!
