It's been pretty much overcast here in Leicester all day, Sun tried its best, but only managed two or three brief, less than an hour sessions...... However it has felt quite humid and dense. What's in store for us Saturday evening? Any likelyhood of unforecast thunderyness gonna be knocking around the East Midlands, maybe Leicester... We've got Swindon in an Elite League clash........

Am I missing something here - warm out, lots of acas which i suppose to mean there is instability and looks very similar to a fortnight ago when we had big storms. Is tonight definitely going to be storm free for the Surrey area?

More tumbleweed, not a fork or clap in sight....... When's it gonna break............? Hot enough, certainly humid, lots of cloud, but somethings missing..?

Trough forecast to be lying across Eastern England on Monday might create some interest although lacking some energy on the face of it.
