a perfect death with all the family with him .. and perfect funeral weather :)  Thanks everyone for your thoughts . I penned and read a wee poem at the funeral ..

A quiet gentleman has passed away .

He was my father in this earthly play.

There is no rhyme nor reason why

some die so young ..

while others wonder why

at 95

they're still alive ..

This was my dad ; your Fred .

He is not dead,

but like the sinner at Christ's side

he's met his maker ,

and sighed

his last

breath

on earth .   .. bc

 rain !

Hasn't got here yet, but getting very dark overhead now! Looking at the radar, it'll be here in the next 20 mins!

Few sleety showers here too. The top of Galtee Mor is white again.

Glorious blue sky day here, with a brisk chilly wind… Lovely day for a walk...

Nice walk/jog this morning.Cloudy and very mild, which made the hat and gloves redundant after a few minutes.
