Stormy weather approaching and our region right in the firing line, not often those two come together.

Even Di Oxberry was on a bit of a ramp when I saw it earlier.

A potentially nasty although quite brief spell of weather coming up so I'd imagine that the last of the leaves will be off the trees by this time tomorrow.

Going to pull some quite cool air in too, not going to pleasant that's for shure ....

Yeah possibly a touch of wintry ness over the highest of the Lakeland tops in the heavier of tomorrow's showers.

Certainly not a day for high level walking.

Didnt get above 9c here today during daylight.... Now its 12 c...balmy.. Well not really after 32-34c in vietnam with humidity felt like 40-42c... Some great storms and downpours too... Especially at night speedboating up the saigon river...

It's gone a bit cooler but we only had a sharp shower before dawn as the cold front went through.
There has been a 36mph gust but it was much windier on Sunday here.
It will probably get stronger again later in the day though.

I heard distant thunder a few minutes ago. Still dry here though. Seems as though the showers are passing to my South. Too much of a northerly component to the wind.

The wind has got much worse here, all the bins have just blown down the road as its bin day! Lol managed to grab ours in time but poor postman was dodging them all, black skies now and rain and the wind is much stronger than earlier!
