Raining again in NW London after a short sunny interval! It is looking very stormy this afternoon!

It's looking the opposite here at the moment.

I just got a pic of it as viewed from the west. The great thing about these conditions is you can really see the structure of the storms.

Warm sunshine here, though some big Towering Cumulonimbus gathering again.

First storms of the season for me today in Rayleigh, thunder on and off for the past 90 minutes from two sperate cells. About 10 rumbles in total and plenty of heavy rain. Nothing spectacular but nice to finally get a bit of action

Ay up!!  The latest storm moving through has brought a gust front with it, winds picked up from nothing to 20mph, also rotation in the low levels, could be interesting

We had an absolute cracker of a Storm it was about 12pm and the rain was the most heaviest I've ever seen it, monsoon like . Even some Thunder :D followed by that cracking Storm we have had some very potent showers, hail stones pitch black skies. Presently bright sunshine - British weather is stunning :good:

Well the Medway storm shield has held strong (or at least the one over my house). Just had a bit of spitting, but all the dark stuff has gone to the SW of me and it's blue sky on the horizon.

I hope you're right Luke!

Second heavy shower of the afternoon in west London. No lightning or thunder with either, though.

I've been just on the edge of every shower and storm this afternoon up until this last one. Unfortunately no t + l, but the rain was the heaviest I've seen in months! Muddy rivers flowing everywhere, also had 5-10 minutes of pea - marble sized hail. I was out at the time taking shelter from the rain and it started slowing down -then for about 30 seconds there was a strong breeze from behind which then turned and was coming even stronger into my face. This breeze stopped and the large hail started. Exciting!

Kensal Green, so north-east of you. Judging from the radar, the storm passed east of you. I just caught its south-western tip.
