just had a rumble of thunder here in Melbourn (not Australia)

feels borderline muggy as well.

If only these were all snow showers in say Jan/Feb.

 

Still mostly sunny here in Egham but with plenty of towers around, a very summery look to the sky. Imagine the storm development in this kind of setup in say May. I think one of Bristol's best storms of 2006 came from a setup like this on May 10th.

Afternoon all. This looks like a typical convective summers afternoon if wasn't so chilly.

Just now hearing lightning strikes over the AM radio.

 

Low level cloud is heading West, the more convective upper level stuff is heading NW. Also very Hazey.

You lucky so and so's getting some thunder and lightning.  Nothing in my part of London where I work at the moment (London South Bank) but there are plenty of Cumulonimbus clouds popping up, so that's given me a bit of hope!

Heavy and bouncy hail now falling here in Egham/Englefield Green but no more thunder yet.

Yup...its looking (and feeling..im quite high) good for maybe more thunder. Been a bit high all day up to now, so its in the area. :D

Driving through Bletchley at around 1.15pm when theres a big flash - everybody ducks and BANG! Booooomshanka!

 

Mate that so reminded me of my youth sitting watching Neil on the youngones. love it

 

Nothing here of note in Southwark...havent had any reports from home
