Torrential rain here again now.

Been raining on & off since about 4.15, had some thunder but not a large amount.

And seconds after I posted more thunder. To the west now rather than the east as it has been for rounds 1 and 2! Nothing too dramatic mind.

Loud storm here at the moment which woke me up. Torrential rain and loud but infrequent thunder and lightning.

Slept through whatever we had last night! Looks like it was a very active night for a lot of you.  There's heavy fog here atm, just saw a flash and heard a rumble.

Well I think my patch has copped some of the worst of it for a change. Been thundering and lightning since about 11pm last night and apart from a lull from 2-4 it has come back again. I'm racking up a good rainfall total already today standing at 20plus mm as I type.

Amazing intense lightning and very loud thunder from 5:10 to 5:40, rain like nothing I've seen apart from the tropics. Cells Seem to be coming off the coast of Dorset in a narrow line, running north towards Yeovil, Somerton, Castle Cary and into east Dorset.

What a night though, midnight to 1:00am, then again at 2am and at 5! May need to get some sleep now, although the dog is on our bed (again!)

Had a few rumbles as the storm went a few miles east of here, just rain now! Nice that the air feels fresh and not humid and sticky anymore!

Thundering again here- really long drawn out rumbles. Rain was torrential 10 mins ago but eased off a bit now.

had lots of lightning at stupid 0'clock, (2am I think) no rain or a breath of wind then, now its just moderate rain with still not a breath of wind, but I think our main storm chances are from 4pm today

Fresher feeling over here, 14c, overcast, heard a couple of low, distant rumbles from that mass to the east just after 0700.
