Wont be long before the rain is here too, just checked the radar, it's on it's way. That's me in for the night. Got soaked earlier, my jeans are still wet but my dog had dried off now

Bit of a slow start but a decent day here now as well.It's nice to see a bit of dry and sunshine at the weekend although tomorrow looks dire according to the forecast.

Nice start to the weekend... won't finish that way though, especially for western areas.

 

Typical just when I'm phasing myself out of winter and mentally adjusting myself from snow craving to spring warmth, the latest models are hinting towards a cold start to March.

Quite a cold blustery wind here, cloud is moving in but still have the odd sunny spell, 11c at the moment but feels a lot cooler. Hope to get Meggy out for walkies before the rain shows up

Was just wondering when the heavy rain is forecast for, just had drizzle so far, but all 3 rivers in carlisle are on flood alert as much as90mm is forecast over the hills is that right?

Heavy rain coupled with snow melt have caused a bit of flooding around here, seems to be easing off now. Winds have been far calmer than forecast though.

Unless something dramatic happens I dont think I can see totals of 90mm
